Kevin Smith Reviews Episode III

1000 words before he even gets to the review is the mark of a verbose idiot who surely has nothing important to say about anything.

EDIT: Before anybody clever says anything: 47k posts is the mark of a verbose idiot who surely has nothing important to say about anything.

considering the fact theres a book out that you could read that would give even MORE spoilers away....no i dont think so 😉

I can't wait to see this movie.

Every damned magazine I have is doing articles on it.

Shall we applaud Lucas?

And, hands-down, the best link-up to ?Star Wars? moment that I enjoyed the most: Bail Organa and Yoda stepping into the hallway of the Rebel Blockade Runner that opened ?Star Wars?. Unlike all the high-tech CGI wizardry of the rest of the prequel Trilogy, this is a low-tech looking set, right out of circa ?77, and for some reason, it really captured my imagination. I mean, this is the same exact hallway in which we got our first look at Vader, oh so many years ago, and I appreciated the hell out of Mr. Lucas including it - because it really felt like a nod to the hardcores.

I skipped over the spoiler bit and just read the bit at the beginning and end. Gotta be a good sign if Smith is this enthused.

Actually he cant be anything BUT enthused thats the problem somewhat with his review.
There is a REASON why Smith got to see this preview... hes in bed with Lucas for a MUCH rumored and everything but officially announced Star Wars TV show (Smith rumored to Direct or osmehting along those lines). So he obviously couldnt go in and just bash EPisode III.

Whats good is that he does comment on it from a seemingly pure Star Wars geek standpoint.

I'm sure the movie is solid.

God damn, I just read that whole thing and ruined the entire fvcking movie. Ah well, at least it sounds like its going to be the first solid film out of the prequels.

You missed the "spoilers" twice?
I dont see how this really gives THAT much away. The story line is already known. Its just some scenes he gives away.

So, you missed the spoiler warnings on the thread title, article title and within the article right before the part with spoilers and are upset to find out plot twists that we all knew were coming 10 years ago?

Man, how much glue do you sniff?

I saw the spoilers. I just ignored them. If you actually wanted the meat of his review, you had to read them. Prior to the spoilers section it was just him talking about his hardon for the movie.

wait a minute... it takes them apparently ~18yrs to build the Death Star as we see its construction beign in Episode III and its just gets done in Episode IV and Luke/Liea age ~ 18yrs (note: Obi got old quick hey?) but the Second MUCH LARGER Death Star gets 2/3s whipped together in a matter of a few years?

HAHA sorry had to post the first star-wars nerd rant.
