Billy Bob and Super Jay ? heheh ... Its Jay and Silent Bob ... Kevin Smith is a director from New Jersey that has directed and created quite a few sucessful films ... His first film which was more or less just a SUPER amateur film made with a black and white 35mm camera and some of his friends acting ... Its called Clerks. Smith went on to write and direct Mall Rats (which I think was a good movie, but it bombed in the box offices), Chasing Amy (pretty sucessful), Dogma ... and now Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back ... Haven't seen Jay and Silent Bob Strike back but I heard it is kindof corny...

Kevin was very good, yes... WHEN he was at the top of his game, before the leg injury. After that he couldn't cover anyone, and hence he was let go from the Dallas Cowboys. But certainly NEVER was he a "god".

I think you meant "good" yes?

btw... I realize I am talking about a different Kevin, and this was meant as a joke. ;)

Yes, Kevin Smith is a little tubby, but it's ok. He's funny, not to mention a nice guy, which earns him two enthusiastic thumbs up from my corner.

I love Kevin Smith's movies, but I think the latest, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, is not his best output..

I would rank them, from good to bad:

Dogma
Chasing Amy
Clerks
Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back
Mallrats..

The first two are almost a tie..

cheers,

Jay and Silent Bob Stike Back was a good movie, worth going to see in my opinion if you are a "big" Kevin Smith fan. Unfortunately, some of the jokes (the referral back to the Quick Stop at the beginning, etc.) can only be appreciated as subtle humor if you have seen the majority of his movies. I have seen most if not all of his movies. I enjoyed them all and think he is a great director.

Two thumbs and one big toe up. :)
