The world's best-known computer hacker suffered the indignity of having someone break into his new security consulting company's Web site. But Kevin Mitnick shrugged it off as "quite amusing," not serious enough for him to call the FBI.
I guess that's what years away from a computer will do. The words "fall from grace" come to mind. link

Did he admin his own server, or was it hosted? Looks to me like some other idiot was running IIS for him, unpatched. This isn't a special hack at all

meh. so they broke into a ms webserver. ooooh, i guess that makes them l33t. :p

Well I do know that if my name was mitnick I'd make sure my webserver was well protected. This will make news and be harsh on his image as he tries to make new business contacts.
