Kevin Kolb to the Cardinals

I like Kolb a lot....but at $63 million? ...not sure.

I know a handful of Eagles fans that will be pissed with letting him go.

And that's how bad teams stay bad. Kevin Kolb may eventually be a good or great quarterback, but that's seriously overpaying for Kolb based on what we've seen.

22 million guaranteed? Wow. dude has got some nice looking skills, but its hard justify off what he has shown on the field he was worth that much guaranteed. QBs are hard to come by though.

oh my fucking god

all of Arizona must be seething right now

a 2nd round draft pick for a Kolb is already a steal for Philadelphia

throw in Cromartie who is probably a top 10 corner (as long as he's not hurt) and Philadelphia got away with highway robbery

Enjoy A.J. Feeley 2.0 😀

Actually I like the Cards and the Eagles are obviously my team, but wow I guess I never saw all the potential NFL people saw in him. Good luck though, that division is still easily up for grabs.

Im okay with DRC being gone, but not happy with the price we paid for Kolb. He was a freaking 2nd round pick however many years ago when he got drafted ffs

He stepped in for Vick for ~3-4 weeks early last season when Vick was injured.

He looked solid to great...but very much unproven.

Sort of, Kolb was the starter going into the season until his concussion in the first game. Vick replaced him until he got injured himself also

Eh, they overpaid a lot but they pretty much did it to save their jobs.

I think the head coach has a contract through 2013. They've been bleeding players left and right, like Boldin, Dansby, and some more. If they didn't get a good or potentially good QB for this year, Fitzgerald's gone since he's a FA in a year and everyone would lose their jobs.

So I understand the move even if it may not work out short-term or long-term. If they do nothing and keep using Max Hall or something, then they're fired. If Kolb sucks, they're fired. But if Kolb turned out great, then they get a new contract extension.

As a Niners fan, I like that Arizona overpaid and gave up quite a bit for him (Philly's gotta be pretty damn happy).

Wow, arizona's defense was bad last year, what will happen without one of the best CB's in the game around? Hope Kolb can score 30+ points a game, cause it may take that to win.

Andy Reid kept Kolb over McNabb; that says a lot for him. Sure it's a lot of money, but that's what starters make these days. In that division, I think he's got a good shot at success. That said, it looks like the Rams are brewing up something good. I think they'll take the division this year.
