Kevin Brown Broke his left hand punching a clubhouse wall, Giambis tumor the type associated with Roid Use.

steinbrenner never learns does he.

he can't win with money, you have to allow your baseball people make decisions.

reminds me of the yankees of the 80's before steinbrenners suspension.

regarding giambi's tumor. i can't find a link but i heard on the radio that the tumor was in the pituitary glands and is commonly associated with steroid use.

if there was any doubt about giambis steroid use before. can't be much now.

I'm not really a baseball fan, but it has been quite a turnaround by the sox, and equally amazing fall of the yankees over the month of August. I did a double take when I saw that 22-0 score....YIKES!

Regardless, the Braves will lose in the playoffs.

😀

and you base this on what??

in the past 13 seasons, the braves have been to 12 Post Seasons and gone on to win 5 NL championships. so to say they would lose in the playoffs is not exactly accurate, the braves have a good track record of winning at every level in the playoffs.

if you want to say they would lose in the WS, ok, i got nothing to say except as a fan i always want them to win.

but to say they will lose in the playoffs is just ignorant.

k.browns broken hand is and omen for the yankees, the evil empire shall crumble this year

That's nothing new, Boston crumbles every year 😀

Lol so true. Bosox fans always predict the fall of the evil empire and it never comes true. Then they blame it on their money, as if it was their fault they have good marketing and can sell alot of things. Besides, its not like the bosox are a penniless expansion team.

The Braves have found a way to lose in the playoffs 12 out of 13 years.

Oh, and let's not forget the fact that they haven't won a playoff series since 1999. Edit: I was wrong. They best the Astros in 2001. So ONE series win in the last four years.

That is what I am basing it on.

Very typical for Kevin "fragile" Brown.
This guy is an awesome pitcher but is rearely ever healthy.
Best thing the Dodgers ever did was trading him to the Yankees this year.
Not only they saved about $10 millions, they got a Jeff Weaver(who has more wins and lower ERA than Brown) and a young stud pitcher on Yhency Brazoban.

NY will not be able to stop the surging Sawx now. Have fun watching the postseason from home Spankee fans. While you're at it, tell Sheffield and Giambi to get off the roids... one has a tumor b/c of it, and the other has damaged ligaments all over and plays in pain. No pain, no gain, eh? See sig.

😀

Wow, Weaver's having a pretty decent year. 12-10, but with a 3.76 ERA and of course he's only 28 compared to Brown's 39 yrs. of age.

Man, I'm sure that the Diamondbacks owners are laughing their asses off now since the Yankees desperately could've used Randy Johnson right about now.

I thought it was a given that the Yankees would win the World Series this year, but now, who knows just how far they'll even make it in the playoffs, if they get there at all.

You might want to research that.

I apologize. They beat the Astros.

So they have won ONE NLDS in four years.

The Astros don't count though since I believe they have never even won a post season series. 😀
