Keurig the best single cup coffee maker?

I just got mine setup now that I'm back at school. Works well for a cup of coffee on my way out the door in the morning.

We got one for our wedding. I don't drink coffee so it makes a lot of sense for my wife from a single cup perspective. She loves it.

Tried the mykcup. It is only good for those who like extremely weak coffee.

it takes A LOT of experimentation with grind size to get it right.

It's not bad once you get it right, but it's a total pain in the ass to clean and keep the rancid old bean taste out, so you may as well just french press the coffee beans anyway.

I love dark/strong coffee, and although the Keurig has it's limits, I've never been dissapointed with a quick snap down on a kup and mug of coffee to go with no effort at all.

I haven't gotten around to getting a coffee duck yet but there were posters that were recommending it on this board. As far as the maker is concerned, it works well for me, I'm the only coffee drinker in my house and it suits my needs. and you can fold up a tea bag in it and brew a reasonable cup of tea. the pods are getting harder to find around here so I think I will get a duck soon, and the reviews on amazon seem to rate it well.

This. Seriously. If you like coffee - use a press. Else you aren't enjoying coffee. Coffee pots are for the office. Single cup brewers suck bad compared to a press.

Then you gotta get a burr grinder too. You mean to tell me that you don't grind yourself the instant you brew? Or even worse, that you buy pre-built packets of swill from god only knows what, from god only knows where that have been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long?!

We have one of these Keurig things at work. The coffee is excellent, but it's way too strong. I can drink a coffee at Starbucks and i'll be fine, I can drink Tim Hortons and I'll be fine, and I can drink McDonadls and I'll be fine. Drinking the Keurig coffee makes me extremely anxious and gives me the shits. It must have an unbelievable amount of caffeine in each pack.

I now only drink the decaff packs.

I tried one of those when I had a Senseo. First time the crap went everywhere. Second time it just came out incredibly weak. I tried several more times with different grinds (from coarse to fine) and it always came out weak.

We got one of these for our Keurig. It just leaks water everywhere and makes terrible coffee. It just doesn't work for us for some reason.

Keurig can make good coffee, but they don't make cups with milk, so no latte or cappucino for you. I got my wife a Tassimo for this exact reason, and she's pretty happy with it. Bed Bath and Beyond had a promotion with a big discount and a $50 rebate on Bosch Tassimo TAS65, and it was a great deal.

My wife loves it, and I occasionally try it as well (not much of a coffee drinker). T-discs are slightly more expensive then K-cups I think, but not by much. The only thing that bothers me with all these is how much waste is produced, but it's either convenience or mess around with your coffee yourself.
