CAD, you missed this?

Dean hints at not quitting if he loses Wisconsin, aren't you stoked?

"Dean, the former front-runner and winless since the start of voting, declined in separate interviews to repeat his earlier assertion that he would withdraw from the race if he lost the Feb. 17 Wisconsin primary. "

Here's what I don't get...

People make a big deal about southerners not voting for anyone but southerners. It seems to be similar for yankees. Edwards is not exactly lighting a fire up north even though he's done well in other states like Iowa and Oklahoma.

It's very true that regional advantage applies when you look at "home turf."

It also doesn't help when the other candidates never bother to even glimpse at the state. Yesterday was pathetic in Michigan, as no one was here.

I know that money is an issue, but people, especially supporters, don't like being wrote off.

People from maine and New Hampshire do not consider Massachusetts to be a neighboor in politics.
We sort of consider Massachussetts to be ANTi everything we stand for.But Kerry has broad appeal and he seems like he is the best choice around in either party so that's who we vote for. Massachussetts being nearby has nothing to do with it.

I don't want to hear about being written off. The North Carolina primary isn't until May. Our vote in the primary will likely not matter at all by that time.

Please do not send alternative candidates more money it will be a waste. If you want to contribute to wiping Bush out contribute to Kerry. It'd be nice if the alternative candidates would just drop out of the race now so that all the contributions could go to work on the fall election rather than spent on winning these primaries. Bush doesn't have to spend his money on primaries.
