It's always fun to remind the Dem's that their choice for President last time was an even bigger moron than the guy who won!

So true :)

If this comment was a joke, and the one about being stuck in Iraq is a joke then Kerry should never make a joke again.

Haha, this is, I think, something we can all agree on.

The timing on these political blunders amazes me sometimes.

Back during the 2004 election, I remember how the Howard Dean scream essentially derailed his entire campaign...and it wasn't even that big of a deal, yet his own party started firing torpedos the moment the media clip hit the airways.

Now just a week and change out from the midterm election, Kerry makes a comment that is getting a lot of media attention...voters could very easily correlate the interpretation of Kerry's comment as a larger perception across the Democratic Party...needless to say, with control of Congress and the Senate at stake, and many of the key elections remaining rather close, a blunder such as this could easily tip the scales.

If anything, it only further illustrates that the choice between Kerry and Bush in 2004 wasn't much of a choice at all.

They were talking about Kerry going on vacation:

Kerry: Or, I could have gone to 1600 Pennsylvania and killed the real bird with one stone.

This guy wanted to be President? You don't joke about crap like this. Did any Republican ever talk about going and killing Clinton? Sheeesh sad.

BTW: IF Kerry gets the nod in 08 I am sure you'll see this bit on TV. No excuse for any wana be President to act like this.

Edit... ooops posted by accident before I was ready.

Link to Newsbusters, I believe a right wing site, but the quote is there

Edit: Changed thread title, happy?

Sometimes I wish I could sew the man's mouth shut. No speaking ability whatsoever!

Can anyone find a quote of a major Republican ever making a joke about killing Clinton or any other Democrat?

This is yet another example of Democratic hate speak.
The Democratic party is in such sad shape if this is the best they can do. What happened to the concept of a "stateman"? Who in the Democrat party can the American people look at and admire for who they are and what they say?

And Cellar, this has nothing to do with recent bad news. It is about what Kerry said, I am sure we can deal with more than topic at a time.

That beckoning for violence will only further instill the sense of civil war.

Our political system is the only thing between us and a real blood bath on the streets when you look at the hatred filling the conversation towards Republicans.
