Short term: bad.
Long term: good.

Having a bit of a tantrum over the Nissan-Renault thing I guess.
GM is better off not having him trying to twist their collective nipples and just worrying about their game plan.

But 2 things to get out of that article if you take Healey's writing between the lines........

#1.) KK *could* have bought the MGM shares without selling the GM shares, so he's definitely trying to make some kind of statement.

#2.) He still owns a friggin' TON of GM shares (14 million shares is just a fraction) and so he's definitely not done w/ them and perhaps *is* just tyring to stir the pot.

Maybe he's trying to get GM to do better just to *spite* his current financial move. (Thought, obviously, he wins if they do, and he probably won't lose any sleep if they don't so it's pretty much win/win for KK).

What's that *golden* rule again?? ;)

If you believe in Rick Wagnor, I guess its a good thing.

I believe that Kerkorian advising to GM that their "revitalization plan" should be their second consideration, after joining forces with Ghosn, was bad. I don't have too much to say about Wagoner, but with Bob Lutz I do believe that GM is going in the right general direction and is building up steam.
