Kerio Firewall problem

hey guys Im new to this firewall before i was using Zone Alarm. Anyway a few minutes after i boot up ever sense I got this firewall it starts saying in the middle of websites something like "anandtech.com could not be found" or whatever but not the regular messages the internet says when their is a problem. I think the firewall is not allowing something.. I did the Typical install and changed a couple of settings.

Ok this Zone Alarm is really ticking me off. How many times do I have to uninstall the bast.. I've uninstalled it like 3 times yet it magically keeps coming up on boot up. I go to remove or add files in control panel and delete it yet it doesnt go away. And then.. just to taunt me .. it locks me out of internet and says someone might be trying to hack me so I cant get on the internet.. O_O . (although that just started happening after I installed Kerio firewall) but it still comes up as a Zone Labs message.

Anyway.. Is there any way to run a free firewall that isnt a pain in the a$$ .. i uninstalled Kerio so I could write this ..

I pretty much have no idea what you're talking about.

No idea why you can't uninstall Zone Alarm, I've never used it. But Kerio generally is very easy to install and use... almost no configuration to do.

Are you sure that when you uninstalled Zone Alarm it didn't re-enable the XP firewall? They won't work together.

Ok sorry for the long reply I was unable to get internet at all during that time..

Ok what im talking about is when I would open Mozilla Firefox after installing Kerio, it would start saying in the middle of looking on sites and stuff "action timed out while trying to connect" or something to that effect. I would exit the webpage, and then open up mozilla again. Except this time it would have a Zone Labs message saying I might be getting hacked, so my internet is being turned off as a precaution, check back for it in 10-15 minutes or reboot 3 times. So I do. then it says if that doesnt work, try this. i do that. Next step is for if you have Zone Alarm pro, so I skip that. Then it finally says go into Safe mode, and delete Internet Logs folder. so I do. Then it says go to Run and type regedit to edit my registries because Zone Alarm f----ed with them without telling me they would do so when I installed it. Anyway, they say go to HKEY_Local_Machine\system\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\VSDATA95 and delete it. but, BUT. The file/folder or whatever that is does not exist. Then it says (i printed this all out by the way) to search for any files named VSDATA95 or VSDATANT . So I do, and neither exist. Search for Internet Logs again, and completely delete it. I also go into control panel and deleted the little ZoneAlarm left behind even after I uninstalled it in Add or Remove Programs.

I hope im finally done with this.. Thats the last i'll ever use anything from Zone Labs/recommend it...
