no sr20det for me...I was going to do a RB25DET but the KA24DE is capable of enough power for me with a simple turbo, FMIC and JWT ECU...along with the typical injector/pump/regulator upgrade.

I am shooting for 13's, if I get into high 12's it'd be a bonus. I could make it run low 12's, but then longevity and streetability start to suffer.

My first mods will be suspension and 300ZXTT brakes.

one thing for sure you will get immense amount of torque... does the SE come with LSD? :)

I got mine for $8800...I was looking at them at $10600 to 12000 though (<100k mile 97 or 98 only with 5spds), this was actually the best (although the interior needed a big cleaning).

Mine has 70k on it...nissan said one of the best they have seen mechanically and cosmetically.

Needs about $500 in stuff to be 100% (mostly the 60k mile maintanence stuff).

sr20det is a 2liter turbo engine. It's common for 240sx owners to swap this engine in, since the Nissan Silvia (japanese 240sx basically) came with it.
RB25DET is a skyline engine. KA24DE is the stock 240sx engine.
FMIC=Front mount intercooler.
JWT = Jim Wolf Technologies. Nissan tuner parts specialist
ECU=car's computer
injector=Fuel injectors
pump=fuel pump
regulator=fuel pressure regulator.
13's/12s=13/12 seconds in the quarter mile

Yeah I am pretty active elsewhere...I put together a bunch of information as this car (or a 944 turbo and I am glad I chose mine) was looked into about the last 2 years by me as a platform that would be a great all around street car that I also would not see at every light.
