kenwood cd changer serial protocol

anyone know where i can find information on the serial protocol used by kenwood cd changers/headunits? i found this page but it seems that my headunit is different, namely the cd changer is the master and the headunit is the slave. i tried calling kenwood but they said it was proprietary information.

this is for a school project to simulate a cd changer using a microcontroller btw

First (excuse the pun) source of information would be the CD changer drivers used in Linux.

Thanks for that link, OP. It has pinouts for the Clarion C-Bus, so I might even try to make an adapter for an aux input. I'm looking for a way to connect my ipod easily, this might be a good start.
