Now U of Kentucky wins agains LSU in overtime.

Man, its a good day for college basketball. NSstate and DUKE...

Good god what a game for UK. LSU proved their mettle to me, they will definitely get another win or two in my brackets Monday. Go Hayes!!! I think I'm still all nerved up after watching that OT thriller.

Kentucky did everything it could to lose that game. After tomorrow's game, Tubby Smith needs to get the team out on the practice court at 2am and make everybody shoot free throws until they each hit 5 straight.

I'd have to disagree. LSU did everything to win that game. UK still played great IMO. Just hard as hell to stop the big guys down low.

Go Big Blue!!! Go Big Blue!!! Go Big Blue!!!

WooooooooooooooooHoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

<--- Alum of the University of Kentucky!!!!!! 😀😀😀

Go Big Blue!!! Go Big Blue!!! Go Big Blue!!!

LSU screw up big time in OT. The guy missed not one but TWO free throws. They did NOT block out and allowed UK to get the rebound and then the winning basket. Oh well, at least they will get in and redeem themself next week.

Edit: For UK fans, why is your basketball team is always good but your football team is so bad every year? Same question for Duke fans and the likes such as Vanderbilt, etc.

LSU definitely is not a poor team. They started out slow, but had won like 14 of their last 17 games. Hell, they even had the SEC player of the year and freshman of the year.

Poor? We share the SEC Western crown with Bama and won 11 out of our last 16 games. We are not Duke/NC caliber but no chickens either.

You don't know your team's schedule, do ya?

Hey, I was being modest. We WON 13 out of our last 16 games, not including today game.

That's a good question. I think most seasons, UK's football team would have a better record if they weren't playing in the SEC. You can blame the coaches, the athletic director, UK's poor history, whatever but it seems that UK just can't seem to recruit enough talent in order to consistently do well in this league.

Last season was particularly futile especially with a coach and offensive coordinator who calls 5 yard screen plays on 3rd and 25.

yeah - very true.

But c'mon. We're Kentucky. We're supposed to win by 10+ points in every game.

heh, so true.

One has to understand - Kentucky is like the capital of college basketball (NC is next or even 1st). We eat, breathe and live college basketball. College football just isn't that big in these parts.
