Kentucky blogger sues state and KY gov over blocking website

Background...

KY state government had all sorts of problems with people getting porn and using state computers for shady and personal business. Huge ruckus over that a few years ago.

State decides to do something about it and put content filter in place in order to save the state money by preventing employee abuse/misuse of the Internet. This filter just so happens to filter out all blogs as well with the states current settings.

Idiot conspiracy theory guy sues the gubment for blocking his blog.

The whole stink surrounds current charges against the gov and state for hiring people they trusted

Actually, there may be a story here. It is possible that his political blog has legitimate news value. Since access to news sites is allowed, he may have a valid claim. It is past time that we establish a legal definition of what constitutes news media. Is "The Drudge Report" a news outlet? Is "Wonkette"?

If this guy's site meets the criteria as a news source, banning it has the appearence of impropriety, especially since access is allowed to other news sources.

I believe that is the angle he is taking, but his first complaint was he was blocked because he's a very far left critic of the State gubment. Which is just ludicrous.

It may garner more national attention. We'll see.

Ernie Feckless is shaking in his shoes. His chances for re-election are about nil, esp. after the head of the Jefferson County GOP said Ernie shouldn't run again. This is way of getting back at his critics, pulling a wholly partisan stunt like this.

Ernie and the nine criminals he pardoned should be in jail right now.

Criticizing Republican Federal Government or any Republican State controlled Government is not allowed in the U.S.
