I just went into staples to buy some laser printer toner and found a kensington digital photo album on clearance for $50. YMMV it may be local.

they also had a lot of the cybiko things on clearance as well.

okay, PLEASE gimme a linky! I think I'm interested!

tanner, i think this is B&M. might wanna chk your local Staples.

Most of the lowend Kensington photo albums are TOTAL CRAP. The cheapest one,
which was widely available for $50 last Xmas, has a non-TFT screen which can only
be seen well at a perfect normal to the screen, has crap resolution, doesn't support
flash memory (so you are stuck with a handful of pictures downloaded directly
to the frame), etc. Not worth $50. Not worth $10 IMHO. The high end Kensington
frame isn't bad (higher resolution, TFT screen, etc.), but still isn't as good as the
Kodak frames that everyone was raving about last Xmas when they were available
at $100...

So unless this is the high end Kensington frame, this is FAR from a hot deal.

I totally agree. I first bought the low end kensington, and when i saw it i immediately returned it and got the kodak. BIG difference.

According to the Kensington website, the whole digital photo album product line has been discontinued, so I wouldn't be surprised to see these frames being clearanced elsewhere. That's basically what happened with the Kodak frame (I bought 3 of those at $99 a pop and would actually like to get another if I could just find one...now going for over $200 on eBay...). The Kensington website also suggested checking Frontgate.com for remaining inventory. They had a nice looking frame on their website, with interchangeable faceplates, but it was priced at $499 (gag*choke*cough).

anyone find them available at the local stores? please let me know... i am interested...
thanks

some bad news guys. i just opened up the box and found out
it was an open box it didn't say it anywhere on the box.

i opened up the box and it was missing the cd and already had pictures on it. scoured the website until i finally found the software and its as ggod as new. there are no blemishes on the unit. sorry about that, i will change header as soon as i figure out how to.
