Yeah I'm still on my diet as well. Need to shed of the last remaining 10 lbs. I just try to work out as much as possible. I worked out the day before thanksgiving and the day after. 1 hour of biking and jogging with an hour of weight training. But those cinnamon buns put me over... HmmmmmMMmmm. Oozy icing on a warm cinnamon bun....

Look into buying r-alpha lipoic acid. In a nutshell, it lowers insulin ,blood glucose levels and free fatty acids in the bloodstream -
since insulin and blood glucose are the 2 biggest determinants in gaining unwanted weight...you should be able to cheat
a lot more by taking 100mg of r-ala per 30 grams of carbs 15 minutes prior to a meal.

Be sure to look for the "r" version too, regular ALA is worthless.

To "keep the weight off" doesn't that presume that the weight isn't on? There goes most of the people reading that :D

My birthday is Jan 18,I intend to greet that birthday 10 pounds lighter than I am today. Those holiday goodies taste good on the lips but they look like crap on a middle aged broad's waist, ass and hips.

Don't bother - doctors are usually pretty clueless about this kind of thing. You can do a search
for "r-ALA" on www.pubmed.com and find several studies that support drastic reductions of
blood glucose following r-ALA intake. (which is helpful for preventing weight gain)
