Keeping the pc software clean

Dear all,

after building my current setup i was wondering how to keep a system clean. Knowing that my pc is used for business and pleasure I made a clean copy with ghost including all programs and drivers. However, when i start to install games (all official as is the software)
I was wondering how reliable it is to uninstall them because i make complete pc backups rather than documents only because it's always easy to miss something.

What do you guys recommend for combining a healthy business system with a game pc?
