Keeping P3B-F AGP @66 with 133FSB

Hi a!

Checked in my BIOS and according to that I should be able to use a 133FSB CPU on my P3B-F and keep the PCI slots at 33, but what will the AGP run at?

According to BXBoards the AGP will run at 89 in this case and I dont want that. Does anyone know of a workaround or hack that will keep the AGP at 66 with a 13FSB on this board?

There is no workaround or hack, either for this board, or any other BX board. It's a limitation of the BX chipset....no 1/2 AGP divider at 133MHz FSB.

No problems with PCI, that's correct. ASUS have implemented the 1/4 PCI divider to work at 133MHz.

What video card do you have? Most of the nVidia GeForce family of cards are able to handle 89MHz AGP, I think the Radeon and a few others are capable of handling it as well.

A TNT2. Guess I'll have to go with a 100FSB P3.

Just a note: Some TNT2 cards can handle the 133FSB. I'm currently running @133 with a Jaton (not exactly top of the line) card. So test it out, might work...

fyi i'm running my tnt1 at 89mhz on the asus p3bf - but i have only been doing this for a week or so and i don't play 3d games from home
