Keeping "My Recent Documents" empty

Hi there,

I remember reading somewhere that there was a way to keep the mt recent documents folder from remembering what documents a person has looked at. I am trying to secure several WinXP machines and keep other users from seeing the list of recently opened documents. If anyone knows how Id love to hear from you....

Thanks!!!

If in XP, right click the taskbar, go to properties, click start menu tab, click customize, click advanced tab, uncheck "list my most recently opened documents"

and please don't post the same question in multiple forums

ok i am looking now and i see what the problem is, that is not an option to do if you switch to the classic view which is what i do by default. I'll have to switch back to that and then customize the desktop some more to get what i want.
