Keeping mosquitoes away

I'm talking around/on you. It's pretty rare to see more than a few and they tend to just buzz around your head a bit and go away.

As opposed to mosquitoes where if you are not using repelant there can be like 20 of you at once if you don't stay on top of it and kill them all. It can be an endless battle. I'll take flies over mosquitoes.
 
Desura, where might you reside during the summer? I think you should spend a summer in the gulf coast and then you won't notice mosquitoes from anywhere else.


And, alky might be on to something. They generally leave me alone, but my diet consisted of lots of alcohol for quite awhile.

black flies swarm. And there isn't a place or community, that I'm aware of, where if they mention black flies, it is without the understanding that they are an absolute terror.

I think booze and tomatoes, quite possibly garlic and other things that leave a pungent sweat can help.

They definitely zero in through CO2 output, though; so if you can manage to not breathe.... :hmm:
