keeping cloth / spray in car for quick car cleanup?

So I park under a power line and sometimes there is dirty water residue or bird crap on my car in the mornings. What do you guys recommend I keep in my car for a quick small area cleaning before heading to work in the mornings?

I'm not one to try a quick-detailing spray because I don't want a chemical smudge left on the paint. So I can't recommend one.

Also I prefer disposable towels for cleaning.
I use one of these soaked in water.

Slap a folded wet one on the dropping and wait 30 seconds or more before attempting to wipe. If there's no nearby water source you'll have to plan ahead and tote a spray bottle with you.

Quick detailer is like lazy man's wax so really nothing bad is left on the paint.

Definitely very different from bug & tar remover.

😱 That is so bad for the clearcoat, you are marring and swirling that bish up.

I do not use any detail sprays, I wash my car weekly. Bird poop would be the only reason I use a spray.

I use a Mequire's quick detail spray and a very fine felt like microfiber cloth to soak then blot up any bad spots that can't wait until the next wash. You don't want to rub it at all unless you are just buffing out a smudge on an otherwise clean surface. And I limit quick detailing to things like bird shit that I don't want to leave sitting. Normal dirt spots and pollen and things like that I leave alone until a proper wash.

Also it helps if you wax often and use a California duster so that when you do go to spot detail things like bird shit, it's as clean as it can be between washes and you aren't just making it worse by smearing caked on dirt into the clear coat.

Believe me, no one's more careful about swirlies than I. But we're talking hose-less conditions here. Light pressure, wipe once then turn to clean side and wipe again. I'd rather not remove droppings without a hose but sometimes you have no choice but to risk superficial marring to get droppings off as quick as possible.

I rarely wipe my car without a stream of water running across it and a wool mitt. If using the shop towels I posted above, I rinse off the towel after every wipe. That's how I roll.

but still paper towel is rough, its not soft like a MF. Its probably doing damage to your Clear. Unless your clear is alot harder then mine as light pressure caused my stuff to get scratched
