Keeping a leoperd frog alive in my garage.

A friend of mine was out having a smoke the other night outside my house and then all of the sudden he threw something at me. It happens to be the biggest leoperd frog ive ever seen and ive since decided to keep it alive and use him for bait when I got fishing on sunday. Anyways I put the frog in a huge rubbermaid container and put some water in and gave him a piece of plastic to perch on. The only thing ive fed him is a bunch of misquitos and it appears hes eaten those but im not sure if I need to feed him anything else? Anyone have any words of wisdom on how to nurse a frog ? 😀

WTF is wrong with you?

Set the thing free where it belongs.

Bait? WTF? Try crayfish or minnows instead. Why kill a harmless, beneficial animal? :disgust:

Crayfish, and minnows arn't harmless?

They make excellent bait for bass. I used to catch about 20 or so of the little ones and toss a few in at a time near my hook (with a worm as bait tho) they'd swim around and attract the bass, then whammo. 😀
