Oh man, I've been so fortunate these last few months. New job I applied for, it demands all sorts of crap (past awards, 2 most recent job appraisal reviews, certified student transcripts...etc.)

Wife always calls me a packrat, but now I have justification >:)

My recent cleaning-house and re-organization of my stuff has paid off, as I only have a few days to get this damn resume out the door

Anyway, cool story? Keep your records ATOT!

what? Demands awards, job appraisals? wtf? seems a bit overboard

If I ever ran across a job online that had requirements like that to apply I'd just close the browser window. Much easier than keeping all that stuff.

You can get the student transcripts from your school. All of the other items, I believe are illegal to request. First, they're legal property of your previous employers and second, anybody could just forge them.

I had one employer ask for samples of my previous project management documentation, I told them due to legal reasons I'd give them only one sample with anything company sensitive removed. They understood and didn't push it further.
