Today I fitted a panaflo 120mm fan in my pc as my temps were cpu-60c and case-50c when I opened it up it was full of fine household dust.
I cleaned and vacuumed the whole machine including the cpu heatsink (which was very dusty) and fitted the panaflo. I thought I'd try it without the panaflo wired just to check what effect the dust might have had.... cpu temp dropped to 54c and case temp 47c!!! 5 degrees cooler for a quick clean is a lot of bang for no bucks!
Incedentally with the panaflo hooked up temps were cpu - 50c and case temp 41c.

That's why i LOVE my Antec 3700BQE, the dust filter is a godsend, I taped up every other hole that leads into the system, except the exuahst fans, and the intake duct, no dust at all! :) :) :) But yea, dust is a pain, especially on your fans.

My filters aren't installed as I want the best performance. But I clean my case every month.

My case is cleaner then my desk. Since I got a clear window, I make sure it is nice and clean in there. It doesn't get that dirty, but I am always cleaning just to make sure it looks nice.
