Keep wireless connection alive?

We have a wireless connection at work and for some reason it loses it's signal for a couple of seconds. The signal strength shows 100% and I it does not disconnect and reconnec. My outlook hangs for a few seconds trying to connect to the MS exchange server and all my x-windows dies from the temporary lost in connection.

any suggestions why I'm losing my connection?

2.4 GHz phones ? Addtional wireless networks nearby ?

Hmm ... I'm not sure, this at work so I guess it's not the 2.4GHz phones, and if there are other wireless networks nearby they are part of the same network though ...

How often does this happen and what brand is the Accesspoint or Wirelessrouter.

Disable "Use 802.1x authentication on this network" for the network adapter if you're using Windows Zero Config.

Hmm ... I'll give that a try ... I'm not sure what brand the AP or WR is, it's hidden somewhere =)
