Keep verizon or switch to cingular?

Right now, quality of service is moot because both offer really good service in my local calling areas. Most of the people I call have verizon, but verizon seems to be lacking in the cool phones dept. when compared to cingular. Any good reason to switch or should I just keep my current verizon and pick up a new phone (which one?)

If you are happy with your service and most of your friends are on the same service then why would you switch?

I am on Sprint as are most of my friends and They have CRAP for phones. Howevr chatting for free > new cool phone

if verizon is more reliable, stay with that ...

i hate how people switch services just because of cool phones ... doesn't really come in use when you can't get reception ...


my family has verizon, we've been customers since the late 80s/early 90s, when it was called AirTouch or something ... vzw treats us like royalty 😛

once again, this isnt about reception, both companies are really good in my area. I was just wondering if anyone had any good reasons for switching before i renew my contract for another year or two.

see if you can get a trial with cingular and then see which service you like better

good thought, amol....also...anyone on suggestions with which phone to get for either company? I really dont need much in the way of features, just max battery life, possibly bluetooth (totally optional), and if it has a good organizer that syncs with outlook, thats great too
