Keep my HTPC?

I built a HTPC for fun a little while back for something to do and put it out in my family's living room. My parents do not like using it for whatever reason and I'm trying to decide whether I should keep it or sell it.

Would it be better to part it out or could I sell it locally as a whole unit? It has some higher end parts and I would really rather sell it as a whole since I built it that way ( has a silverstone case, ultra quiet psu, 250 hd, two tv tuners, win mce, etc, etc)... Not sure how much I could get for it, but I know I paid a lot of money for it a couple months ago... argh.

Another alternative would be to wait until I move out (hopefully soon) and use as part of my main home theater center.

Would you keep or sell?
 
FS/T forum. sell as one unit for a fixed cost, or give the option of selling each part individually for ultimately more money than the entire unit.
