Keep my fan or go with a Thermaltake Volcano 7

I actually have a Athlon 1700+ Retail Box with the fan from AMD. I saw the Volcano 7 from Thermaltake and I'm very impressed by his low price and many reviews acclaim the fan. Do you think that this fan is better that the one I actually have and that it would be a nice idea to change my fan or do you think I should keep the fan from AMD. Thanks to anybody who will help me.

The Volcano 7 doesn't have a lot of fans out there (pardon the cheap pun), but I have had mine for several months now and am very satisfied with it, although I did dump the stock smart fan due to the noise. I swapped the stock 80mm Tt smart fan for an Antec 80mm smart fan that I picked up at CompUSA. You could probably do as well or better off the net, but the Antec with the V7 have performed very well for my XP1700.

According to Antec's web site the max noise level at 2900 would be 34dBa with an air flow of around 35CFM, but if that's the case then I've gone deaf because I can't hear it over the PS or any other fan in the case. It worked well enough that I bought two more to replace the in-out case fans.

Seems like I replied to this thread or one just like it before.... hmmm.
