I currently have Kaspersky, but i seem to recall NOD32 using less resources in the past, is this still the case?

Kaspersky does not use much on memory resources,I think NOD32 still uses less which does not say much being both are low in that area, however if you are really that worried then add more ram, much better use to your PC then just changing AV.

The difference in system resource usage between NOD32 and Kaspersky Antivirus (antivirus only, no kaspersky firewall installed, etc.) is almost nothing, but you get the benefit of having Kaspersky's superior detection / removal abilities plus you have the industries' best response time to new threats (hourly updates).

Kaspersky is the best. true the updates can be annoying, but they are for a good cause. Plus NOD32 isn't as good according to some tests i've seen.
