Keep getting Kicked off AIM

one of my friends keeps getting pissed at me thinking "i kick them off aim" i told them i could one time, but i was joking and they knew that. well anyway, they keep getting kicked off aim. just randomly kicked off. anyone think they no why? how to fix this?

Actually, I have been having this problem too. Mostly it happens when I try and put an away message up, but this morning it just booted me around 700am, and I tried to sign back on, and it said service couldn't be reached. I have 2 SNs, and was perfectly able to sign on with my other one, but not the one I use now. No one else in my building is haveing this problem either, so it's not the server or anything. Very freaky to me. FInally after 3 hours, I could put my real SN back on.

It did this to me about 3 weeks ago as well, I just uninstalled it, and reinstalled it, and it was all good, but it just started flaking on me again last weekend.

they have Cable (Wide Open West) internet, she is only kicked off like like 2-5 secs then gets back on...but its annoying as heck.

I see, next time she gets kicked off, and its for a longer period than 5 secs, try to access a webpage not in the history or cache, and if it comes up then u know its AIM, but if the page doesn;t come up then u know that your cable connection is out

I see, next time she gets kicked off, and its for a longer period than 5 secs, try to access a webpage not in the history or cache, and if it comes up then u know its AIM, but if the page doesn;t come up then u know that your cable connection is out
