Keep getting GPFs and Blue Screens...

Mainly I play America's Army and UT2004. I keep getting BSODs and GPFs with my PC. I have an Antec 430w powering an AMD 64+ 3000, with an ATI 9800 Pro, 2 SATA HDs in Raid 0, and a single DVDRW, so I think the power is enough.

My drivers are up to date for everything. I can play the game for a while without a problem, great framerates and everything. However after some time, it'll just crash out of the blue. I can't figure out the problem.

If you have any ideas, please let me know 🙂

BSOD doesn't give me an error... just goes to a blank blue screen.

My memory is fine, since I was using it for a long while in my old PC and I never had any problems. My CPU/Case temps are fine also, 34 degress on the processor and 31 in the case.

Still can't figure out my probs... I've got the Chaintech ZNF3-250 mobo btw.

Weird, never seen that one before. When you get the errors, does your system freeze or does it reboot?

Even though you say that the memory worked fine in your old system I would still test it to be sure so you can eliminate it as a potential cause. It's possible that the memory isn't damaged but just won't play nice with your new motherboard. Also, what kind of timings are you running? Maybe try to back them down a bit if they're set aggressively.

Doesn't reboot... just a hard lock. Apparently Chaintech has some issues with the Radeons, so I emailed them and hopefully they will have a response for me soon.

If you're getting BSOD's, the fineness of your memory is open for debate. What voltage and timings is it set up for? Also, what audio card are you using, and what PCI slot is it in? What other PCI cards (if any) are you using?

I'm going to install a few other games that I have to see if the same thing happens... I think it's something to do with the Unreal Engine because after reading on their forums... they have lots of issues right now.
