Keep getting Error 1327 Invalid Drive F. Help

I am trying to install Nero 5.0 on an XP machine. As it is going through the instalation it stops and pops up this Error Message. Error 1327 Invalid Drive F. I don't even get to the part where I accept or decline the agreement. It is even before I put in the validation key. This is incredibly frustrating.

I don't even have a drive F on the computer. I have done a couple of google searches and found nothing that has helped yet.

Feel free to post any help you have to offer.

Does your profile have administrative privilages.
Is your path to the temp install folder corrupt.
update your copy of Microsoft intaller at the following link.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/setup.asp

Or you could contact Nero, I'm sure they would be happy to help. Nero 6 is pretty nice, I have to admit.

Nero 5.0 is a no no for Xp. You need at least 5.5 upwards...............and yeh go for 6.3 if youve got a DVDRW.

Is the Nero 5.0 CD an oem from another CDRW?

Do you have other CD writing software installed (esp Roxio EasyCD?)

Disable IMAPI?
