Question Keep getting Captchas, network problem?

I've started getting random captchas when visiting websites. It seems to point to malware by the warnings I get. I ran an AVS scan but didn't see any problems. One website said it might be:
  • You've disabled JavaScript in your web browser.
  • A third-party browser plugin, such as Ghostery or NoScript, is preventing JavaScript from running.
I couldn't find anything indicating any of this going on, but don't know much about networking. Is there some malware running that's affecting the sites I'm visiting? I logged into my router and I think the only devices were ones that I recognized, although some had weird names. Anything else I can check?

Also got this on a site: Your adblock may block important javascript components, check that main.js is loaded or the webpage won't work.
I have the uBlock extension but it's not even switched on at the moment, so don't know what that would be doing. Thanks!

Do you get the random captchas while trying to visit those websites in other browsers too? Try use a different browser and check if it is due to the browser or not.

Also try to reset the browser settings.
