Keep getting blue screens of death on my new build

My new computer seems to be running fine, but will post a blue screen of death every 1-2 hours. I just built a DFI Lanparty Ultra4 with Opteron 165 and an eVGA 7800GT, with no overclocking. I used the chipset and onboard drivers off the DFI CD, and downloaded the latest nVidia drivers off their site. Nothing else has been installed on this computer, aside from Need For Speed: Most Wanted and 3DMark05 and 06. Here's the error message I get from the blue screen:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

(Then at the bottom it says this:)

NVTcp.sys - Address EFE7F7DA base at EFE7D000, DateStamp 41a5388a

Have any ideas? My temperature monitor shows CPU-34c, PWM IC-46c, Chipset-47c, which look pretty normal to me.

ANY help is GREATLY appreciated!

To start with...

1) If yours has the four power fittings shown in this pic then make sure they're all hooked up. That first one is often overlooked, people aren't expecting a floppy-style power plug in the middle of their motherboard

2) what brand and model of power supply is it?

3) what brand and model of RAM, and what voltage are you giving it?

Crap, I didn't even see that floppy style power plug on my motherboard.

As for the other questions, I have an Enermax Liberty 500w and 2x512mb Corsair Value Select, PC3200.

I did a Google search for my problem and found this thread here, which outlines the problem I'm having. I disabled the nVidia firewall from the getgo so we'll see if this still happens:

Good luck, and if the problems persist, try running Memtes86 overnight as a fact-finding step. I believe your motherboard has it built right into the BIOS :)

I uninstalled the nVidia ethernet controller drivers and am now using the gigabit built into this board. It's been running strong all night and into this morning. I think I fixed it :)

Thanks!
