Just wonderign if the GEforce 3 ti 200 is worth it???

I have a geforce 2 mx right now.... Are there any visual improvements or are they mainly speed improvements>??? thx guys
I think my geforce 2 mx is fast enough, i am just wondering if the visual quality of a geforce 3 would blow it away???

Unless you can't play games that you want at a decent framerate, then I wouldn't suggest upgrading. If you are gonna upgrade, then you might wanna wait for the GeForce 4 Ti cards to come out. The 4200 is gonna be about $200 and will be better than the current GeForce 3 Ti 500. Even if you don't wanna buy a GeForce 4, you still might wanna wait until they come out since the current cards will most likely drop in price.

I like my G2MX. I have a regular Visiontek Geforce 3 and MX. I can't say I can notice a huge difference when playing games like Diablo2:LOD and stuff. I don't bench my things so I can't really tell you whether or not it's a huge difference. I would wait for the Geforce 4 cards to come out too.

I think that the main feature that a GF3 Ti 200 would bring to the table for someone who is getting good frame rates already with their older video card, is being able to play those games at super high resolutions with FSAA enabled, otherwise stick with the MX.
