I saw a 17" KDS with an unknown model # at a Walmart here today in Illinois. There was just a sign ( one of their red and white "now reduced" signs) that said $299 with no SKU's or upc's, or anything. I saw one way up on a shelf still in a box with the same price on it, but i was unable to locate an associate to pull it down for me.
Oh, it was silver and dark grey if it matters.

It's actually the 15" KDS lcd that is on rollback to $299.

Wal-Mart has their standard return policy for electronics. I don't recall the exact period of time. However, I have purchased (and returned) monitors before without any hassle. What's walmart's return policy on electronics?

"What's walmart's return policy on electronics?" better than circuit city, best buy, or compusa (90 days i think) better than target theoretically also (on clearanced items)

#$%$@#$#$%...I just ordered the Hitachi CML174B 17" LCD with 16ms time......now I wonder if it's worth $230 more to get the 16ms or save the $230 and stick with the slower 35ms.....sigh!![]()
That seems about right. Even though the stated period is 30 or 14 days depending on what you buy, if you have a problem, it doesn't hurt to try. We purchased a patio umbrella for $120 at Wal-Mart and the mechanism broke. After 3 months, Wal-Mart couldn't find a suitable replacement for us becuase we really liked the umbrella. They then refunded us the full amount of the purchase. We'll then head back in the Spring when they get more umbrellas in stock to purchase the item we want.Originally posted by: amdskip
Walmart will take anything back pretty much as long as they still sell it. Threaten to call home office and they will do anything for you. There is no formal return policy other than returning items must be easy for the customer. It's supposed to be 14 days on computers and peripherals but they don't enforce that very much. YMMV as always.
