KDS AV195TF vs. ViewSonic E790 ... My E790 has far more vibrant colors...is this right?

Both computer are using Voodoo 5s with same drivers and are configured the same. The AV195 has sort of a "milky" image while the Viewsonic is crisp and the colors are much better. Is this to be expected or do I have a dud AV195?

 
I would say so, I just bought the A70 at best Buy for 199.00-40.00 rebate and the colors are superb on the viewsonic for that price, it even does 100htz at 1024x768
They put in a brighter tube on the new models that are 30% brighter than previous models.
Can't beat it for 160.00 rebate is good until end of june I beleive.
 
I messed with the gamma, contrast, and brightness for about 30 minutes and got it to look better. I still don't think it looks as good as the E790, but it's better than it was before. My gamma settings for D3D were really wacked. I swear sometimes windows makes changes on it's own sometimes 🙂
