KDS Anyone?

We have 6 of the 15" LCD screens in one of our computer labs. They seem to be running great. I know they look better than anything else we have. We have had them for almost 2 months now.
 
Thanks for the tips. I found an 18.1" for 800 as opposed the the 1,414 on the website, so I wanted to make sure it was worth the purchase.
 
I don't know anything about that monitor in particular. However, I own a KDS monitor, and I just wanted to say that I think they offer very good products at pretty competitive prices. I would have no problem recommending them to you.
 
KDS is pretty decent.

KARES is nice too. Last week I had a cheap-arse VS-77 die on me. They had a shiny new replacement at my door in 2 days, and paid for me to return the old one. Real nice. 😀
 
There is a rumor going around that they went out of business, but I dont think it is true. They recently RMA'd ony of my AV-195TF's in 3 days. The Warranty rocks!
 

They filed for bankrupty protection in KOREA. This does not necessarily mean they go out of business.
When I called Garden Grove warehouse about something else, and asked - nobody there even
heard of filing.
 
i own a 19" i90...thing runs great, especially for the price...and i've only heard good things about their warranty policy
 
I can't really speak for the LCD's but otherwise I have alway been very happy with KDS. Of all of the monitors I have owned, they are my favorite. They offer a great product at a great price. I have been using a vs-195e for the past 2 years and have no plans to change until this one is dead or the prices just get too low on the LCD's at which point I will prolly go get another KDS... unless the rumor is true and they go outta business... which I hope is just a rumor BTW.

Korea Data Systems (KDS ) is reported that it has been contracting Taiwan-based Sampo and South
Korea-based Orion Electric to produce CRT monitors since August. At the time, KDS suffered a liquidity
problem and was forced to outsource all of its CRT monitor production.

Sampo is supplying KDS 20,000 CRT monitors from its factory in China, and KDS is still producing LCD
monitors and notebook computers at its own factory in South Korea.
