I'm now on my second monitor (Best Buy) and this one has a slight blue coloration in the lower left hand side while viewing a white screen. Also a slightly darker section in the lower right section of the screen. Speakers are a good 3 feet away and this doesn't occur on my old 17"
The first one was just darker on edges and lighter in the middle.
Are there any adjustments or does this one go back too...?

Hmm that is a strange problem. Are you sure there couldn't be another source of interfernce around your monitor? Well if not, then yes I would send it back.
 
If its only a slight problem why not keep it? All monitors have problems you will never find a perfect model from any brand.
 
Check the cable that connects to the monitor. Mine sometime turns a bit purple and its the connection between the cable and the monitor.
