I was at OD yesterday and they have the KDS vs190i for $199 after rebates. It was $289 with $20 instant and $70 mail in rebate which bought the price down to $199. Of course if they charge tax in your state that is not included. But it looks pretty nice and has some nice specs. The warranty is pretty nice also. I live in NJ by the way. Not a bad deal I think.

OD B&M is clearing out Compaq MV-920 19" 1600x1200@75Hz It's 300+tax, less $100 MIR from Compaq, less the coupon posted before. My local store had few still in stock.

This deal is not an online one. Its in the store. Here in NJ at OD the monitor is $289-$20 instant rebate-$70 mail in rebate and the final price is $199. I am sure its at other ODs also because its in the circular.

i've heard good things about the visual sensations line, but at 19", you might want to invest in an fd display. trinitron tubes are always nice, so if you wait for some hot deal on the avitrons that use the fd trinitron tube, you might be more satisfied.

I'm having problems with my KDS after only a year, the screen flickers to different sizes and I have a nice light purpleish red fat line down the side of the sucker.

hey narzy,

kds has a really good customer service and warranty repair system. my friend had his kds mess up on him a lot and they basically just swapped for a fresh one. they're pretty good with that, so give em a call. =)

I have a 17" KDS VS-9e, and while it can do some pretty amazing resolutions/refresh rates for a 17" (it can reach 1600*1200 @ 75 hz!) the picture quality isnt that nice...id definitely invest in a flatscreen trinitron over the regular ones...

The KDS AV19TF flat screen monitor is REALLY nice. Clear graphics and sharp images.
Has been turned on almost for 8 months, didn't turned it off at all. The quality is still good
