KDS 17" Avitron-Convergence problems

Is there any way to adjust the convergence of the KDS 17tf? I know the 19" has both horizontal and vertical convergence controls, but this one doesn't. And it seems to have some convergence problems on the corners, I used the Nokia program because the letters of the "Start" button looked a little fuzzy to me, and if I could adjust the convergence I would be so happy...

Text on Trinitron tubes for some reason don't look quite sharp. With the tradeoff of superior color quality and vibrance. Shadow mask tubes tend to have much sharper text than their Trinitron counterparts, but lack the color quality somewhat. I have a Sony 17 incher, and the geometry problems are driving me mad.. I shoulda went for a Samsung :\
