I am reinstalling a FreeBSD machine (I want to de-clutter it, there is a lot of old junk on there), and I am wondering whether I should give KDE or Gnome the thumbs up.
The previous install, I went the gnome route, with the effect that I never liked running under X because it complained that it did not have the right window manager installed (which it did and which was activated).
The important question for me is:
Which one is more streamlined?
I don't need that many features, I need a slim system.
Thanks
