How do I disable resizing of maximised windows?

Say right now, Im running Opera, in KDE 2.2.2, if I placed the cursor by the end of the screen, nothing special would happen, in KDE 3.0.2, I can resize the window if I do, which is really annoying since I tend to just drag the moust to the edge whenever I use a slidebar.
