This is onsale for $59.99

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp...=7005572&type=product&id=1099392032688

So $59.99 +$29.99 "installation" = $90
$90 - $90 coupon = free

Link to coupon

Just did it in Pembroke Pines, FL

walked out the door without paying a penny

Look at this thread for information: Text

UPDATE: Installation is $14.50 on advertised memory this week, doesnt really affect this deal but for other memories it may

repost

Edit: Just saw you posted a link to that thread. Now i'm totally confused as to why you created a new thread for this instead of bumping the existing thread.

So why did you need to post this again when you were aware it already had been? Good deal at any rate...

Edit: Nvm...didn't notice it was different RAM. My mistake.

Check your ad, installation is $14.50 (Aug28-Sept3) not $ 29.99. ;)

You'll have to get something worth $8.50 to reach $90 (tax included).

I tried it today in Union, NJ. Did not work for me. He rang up the RAM, but the coupon did not take anything off. Cashier tried ringing up the Kingston (now $200), and that did take $90 off.

get the manager to do an override

if they tell you it is the in-store policy of Best Buy to not allow the combination of any coupon with an item already on sale

tell them to call BB cust service 888-BESTBUY and they will confirm that you CAN use the coupon to purchase an item already on sale for IN-STORE purchases.

Too bad some stores have cheap managers that will come up with any excuses to not make the deal. One of the Best Buy's near me has a SOB manager that required installation by the Geeks even if I pay for installation. Too bad I don't have a laptop that the Geeks can install on since I have a PowerBook :(. But I'm gonna try and get some SD Cards for my camcorder and have the Geeks "install" that. They can suck it.

I just got back. They asked me for a copy of the email from BB since ppl are photocopying the copy. So i showed them the copy and they only took out 59.99 but left the $29 for the installation on. I ended up paying $30 something. Going to go back tomorrow to ask them why.

It seems like different stores come up with different stories and results. The store I went to today said that the RAM can be free but installation is another 30 bucks, and I can just take it home and pay for the installation. While the other store flat out refused.

I don't get it......why did you pay in the first place if you knew that wasn't the deal? Now you are going back tomorrow? LOL

Is there a limit to how many times you can do this? As in go and bring random computer, get memory installed, have another person wander by and repeat, but with same coupon, but diffrent people?

When I did this yesterday, two stores initially wanted to charge the 29.00 installation fee. We pointed out that on the coupon it says memory AND installation, not memory WITH installation. Took a manager to make the decision, but worked at two stores.

Also, if they still refuse to give it to you, point out that installation is 14.50 in the flyer, and you want that price on installation. Still a great deal for 512MB of RAM for 14.50. It works great in my wife's 600m, I wish BB had some DDR2
