KB4056892 is available through windows update

And it is fine and dandy.
In the beginning i noticed just after the update a large increase in processor usage ~60% but this is only for a few minutes. After that, processor usage goes down to < 2 % while idle with only firefox and the taskmanager open on my 4c4t piledriver system. Windows 10 had to do some maintenance i guess.
I guess this is the update that protects against meltdown and spectre ?

Thank you bbhaag, for showing me the option for extra notifications, windows gave a very clear and obvious notification dialog in the right corner of the screen that it needs to restart because of an update or that i should at least set a different time for restarting. 🙂

Click start>settings>update and security>restart options>if you have a restart already queued up you can schedule a time to restart that is less intrusive. check the "show more notifications" option to receive more advanced notice before a restart.
