Comp Geeks has the KB Gear jaMP3 for sale for 34 bucks
There is also a 30 dollar rebate floating around.

34-30= 4 +s/h

I never have ever tried a rebate with KB Gear, so cant say how legitimate they are. But according to the rebate, it ends Dec 31st 2001. So it should work.

I got one of these 3 months ago at Kmart for $50.00 with $30.00 rebate.
Sold it on ebay for $52.00 or $56.00. He said that he liked it.???:D

This was posted about a month ago as to ComputerGeeks and same issues were raised in that thread. I considered buying it at a B&M store for $39 which would be $9.99 after rebate but didn't want to invest more $ into MM Flashcard memory. You have to use 64kbs rate to get hardly any songs on 16mb unit.

One hour of play at radio setting , 16 minutes at CD Qualtiy
Requires Two (2) AA Alkaline Batteries - Not Included

Sounds like this thing would eat batteries like crazy.

I got a good deal on this a couple months ago at Office Depot. I sold this on Ebay for $35. The rebate took 10 weeks to get -- but I got it.

man after hearing how much you guys got for this unit on eb&y I might try to auction mine...and yes this unit sucked down batteries...I had a rio pmp300 that got better battery life and it only used one AA.
