they dont need this. i hope it just "simulates" the analog movements just like the Xbox1 adapter did, which I'm pretty sure it will considering the XDK doesn't support mouse and keyboard. i would prefer to play with people who all are on a controller than some on a controller and some on a keyboard.

I'd prefer to be comfortable while playing. If you get rocked it's not my problem. ;)

trust me i think i'll be more comfortable lounging back on my couch than slouching over to use a keyboard and mouse.

not to mention kb/m is for people who aren't skilled enough to adapt to a controller for FPS games.

I have mixed feelings about a device like this...

I agree with purbeast...it has the potential to create an unlevel playing ground. It is no fun if you're getting beaten everytime not on the basis of skill, but the fact that someone has a superior input device than you.

On the other hand, add-ons like this might push MS/Sony/Nintendo to come up with better input designs that will provide the same level of precision that a mouse and keyboard provide. I don't want to use a mouse and keyboard to play my console...console games are about sitting back relaxing on a couch...not sitting in front of a computer.

I agree. One of the biggest reasons I like the 360 is everybody has the same equipment. I will concede that people playing with a keyboard and mouse will rock those playing with a controller and I would like the games to still be fun when I still use my controller online.

Oh man...if that isn't going to get a reaction...I don't know what will.

As a gamer, I've given up on constantly upgrading my home PC and have moved to just console gaming. I've picked up on the controller just fine and thoroughly enjoy FPS gaming on consoles...that being said...I'd NEVER say that current controllers give you anywhere near the level of control that a keyboard and mouse do. I happily give up that level of control for the comfort/fun that is console gaming...not to mention that controllers are much better for just about every other game type except RTS games which I've found I never have the time to play anyway.

While a kb and m is better, you have gotta admit, the 360 controller works really well with fps.

I never once said that a controller can give you the precision a mouse and keyboard can.

Because I know to say that would be a lie. But I will say that it's tougher to be precise on a controller than it is to be precise on a keyboard/mouse, which turns off a lot of PC gamers.

I will be picking one of 'em up :D. Use it with a wireless keyboard and mouse to keep the wireless-ness up.
