So you assume that as someone took out teh spyware in Kazza lite, that they didnt put anything into it ... not exactly a safe assumption is it ?

No.
I assume that there is potential danger to down load a virus any time I down load something.
You can never be sure of everything in life, you have degrees of certainty you have to live with.
I know enough people using KazaaLite that were it to contain a trojon, I would have heard of it by now.

I used both WinMX and eDonkey to find wanted files but found myself queued up forever all the time. I switched to Kazaa Lite and get the stuff I want within minutes 99% of the time and all is well. Good thing I'm "dumb enough" to use something like KazaaLite to get the stuff i want faster.

(and for the record, I also use eMule for some of those 'hard to find" files and indie tunes, but downloads take a helluva lot longer)
