Not speaking as one who truly knows this product, but:
I go to a lot of trouble to secure my computer against things like spyware, hacker intrusions and virus infections. Any application that I install that has the job of sharing folders on my computer with others on the Internet comes to me with a heavy burden of proof that it will not compromise my security. If a well funded company like Microsoft has to issue security fixes every few weeks for its products, what can I really expect from this company in a best-case scenario, let alone one in which the company has just returned with new product that claims to remedy some arguably outrageous behavoir of the old.
So this pickpocket comes up to me on the street and says he's sorry for stealing my wallet the last time, but if I allow him to continue using it, he won't rip me off any more...
