Kazaa upgrade! Did I just hose myself?!

I was using Kazaa (previous to 1.7.1, dunno which) Using the no spyware hacked dll. Anyways, Kazaa asks if I want to upgrade, and without thinking I do. Sooo, did I just re-install a ton of spyware AND turn it on? Should I uninstall and look for an older version? Whats the status of the spyware that can be activated or whatever?
 
No, you just need to get the fake DLL for cydoor spyware again, and copy it to \WINNT\System32 (or \WINDOWS\System32) in NT-based OSes. I'm not sure where the DLL is stored in Win9x, so you'll need to search for where Kazaa's real one is, and replace it with the fake one.
 
Groovy! Still got the fake dll, was smart and saved that, so gonna go do the dll switch-a-roo. The new interface on Kazaa looks like I just dropped back into XP....Yay, I re-formatted to get RID of that, and Kazaa brings it back to me...Oh, the joys of file sharing...
